==Considerations== * There is only so much power you can get from your datacenter operator without renting the whole thing * You prefer to use 1U machines * You understand that there is no reason for having more than 20 machines in one rack ==How To== * Arrange in packs of three * Leave 1U between every three-pack * put the switches/routers in the middle of the rack (e.g. U23, U24, U25) * start out from the switches, moving forward away from them * put the heavier machines on the bottom * put UPS/PDU appliances on the bottom * put the power plugs on the sides
